of Dave Winfield , Ty Cobb and George Sisler as the fourth player in MLB history to have three five-hit games in a single month.
He is also one five-hit game away from tying the league record for most in a season, which currently stands at four. If that wasn’t enough, Arráez became the first player this season to reach 100 hits when he hit an opposite-field single to left in the bottom of the fourth inning. Arráez has 11 hits over his last 14 at-bats and he surpassed the franchise record for most five-hit games in a single season, which had been previously held by Juan Pierre who had two in 2005. The Marlins’ win was their fifth consecutive victory.
