stars, celebrities have been lacing up their trainers and hitting the pavement to complete the marathon and help raise money for their chosen charities.
The 26 mile course will see runners leave Greenwich Park, running past city sights like Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf, before they head along Embankment and past Westminster, before passing Buckingham Palace and finishing on The Mall. The celebs taking part have been sharing their training with their fans and followers over the last few months as they aim to raise as much money as possible for charities close to their heart, and with many of them having already completed the race, there are some impressive finish times amongst them.
Here are some of the big names who have taken on this year’s London Marathon and their impressive times...Former The Only Way is Essex star Mark Wright ran this year’s London Marathon alongside his brother Josh and parents Carol and Big Mark. It’s the second year the reality star has completed the marathon, with him and his family running as ambassadors for Flora’s Making Healthy Switches campaign.
Mark successfully completed the 26 mile stretch in an impressive three hours, 36 minutes, and 53 seconds.
