Mark McGowan’s live mic slip-up shows how “tremendously unsophisticated” the Western Australian Premier is, The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan says.
Mr Sheridan said the Premier showed he is rejecting the “core analysis” of all Australian national security agencies and of the federal government.
“He is a money-grubbing premier trying to make a buck for Western Australia … but why doesn’t he just keep his mouth out of strategic issues about which he is so spectacularly ignorant and speaks so foolishly,” he told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
