The committee has alleged that the president received 'shady' loans totaling $600,000 from a failing hospital company based on claims that his family name would 'open doors' and could help secure a 'large investment from the Middle East.'Ian Sams, the White House spokesman for oversight and investigations, said the loan check in question was made out to Joe Biden and was clearly labeled as a 'loan repayment' conducted before he was elected president.
