Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has reintroduced her censure against Rep. Rashida Tlaib, giving the resolution a second go after lawmakers voted against it the first time.

“I voted to table the resolution,” the Texas Republican wrote on X. “In January 2021, the legal term insurrection was stretched and abused by many following the events at the Capitol. We should not continue to perpetuate claims of ‘insurrection’ at the Capitol and we should not abuse the term now.” She will call the measure to the floor this week as a privileged resolution, a source familiar confirmed to The Hill. With privileged resolutions, the House needs to vote within two legislative days.
Ms. Tlaib, who is the only Palestinian-American in Congress, has called for an end of aid to Israel since the beginning of the Israel-Hamas war.
