Marjorie Taylor Greene was threatened with removal from Congress for donning a 'Make America Great Again' hat, which she refused to take off despite being urged to do so by the Sergeant at Arms of the U.S. House of Representatives.The Republican hardliner was wearing a red blazer and a MAGA hat on the House floor while trying to get President Joe Biden's attention as he made his way through representatives to deliver his State of the Union speech.
At the Sergeant at Arms' explanation that it was 'about decorum,' Greene said she told him she understood and she was willing to pay a fine, face a warning 'or do whatever' but she was not going to remove the hat.'He said, 'Well, you're going to have to leave or we're going to take you out,'' Greene said.'I was like, You can hold me out of here. Go ahead and try it, but I'm not going to take this hat off.
