When Mayorkas answered in the affirmative, Rep. Greene added he "should have deported her so that she could be alive today."It’s not immediately clear what Rep. Greene meant by the remark as Riley, a U.S. citizen, could not be deported under the Fourteenth Amendment. A member of her communications team did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The National Desk .to oust House Speaker Mike Johnson.

"I am not resigning,” Speaker Johnson recently said. “And it is, in my view, an absurd notion that someone would bring a vacate motion when we are simply here trying to do our jobs. It is not helpful to the cause. It is not helpful to the country.
