The freshman Georgia Republican told conservative outlet Newsmax how she backed Bannon, 67, who surrendered to the authorities on Monday following his federal grand jury indictment. Outside the D.C. courthouse only a few hundred feet from where Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol, a defiant Bannon told reporters after the hearing:"We're going to go on the offense, we're tired of playing defense, we're gonna go on the offense and stand by."
