Maura Tierney is making her full-time debut on 'Law & Order' in October — and we've got a sneak peek. The veteran TV actor, who previously had starring roles on 'NewsRadio,' 'ER' and 'The Affair,' portrays NYPD Lt. Jessica Brady in Season 24 of the crime drama, which premieres Thursday, Oct. 3, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. She previously had a guest-starring role on the show in the early '90s.
Nolan Price and Assistant District Attorney Samantha Maroun can also be seen in the teaser. The promo also features several glimpses of 'SVU' and the show's longtime star, Capt. Olivia Benson . Early on, Benson is seen leading a crying woman away from a crime scene. Later, she stands on the street with ADA Dominick 'Sonny' Carisi , who raises a toast — over paper coffee cups — to 'bad guys getting what they deserve.
