Marine beat City of Liverpool 2-0 in the Liverpool Senior Cup final
Marine AFC retained their Liverpool Senior Cup crown with a 2-0 win over City of Liverpool thanks to goals from Finlay Sinclair-Smith and Sol Solomon.
For Paul McNally's side, the clash against their Crosby rivals was the first of two massive matches for the Purps this week as they host Witton Albion in their playoff showdown on Saturday where they must avoid defeat to secure their place in the playoffs. The strike partners have amassed 49 goals between them and added to their tally to help Marine win a successive Senior Cup - after their penalty shootout triumph over Runcorn Linnets, last year.
