A partir de este sábado, la Marina de México toma el control formal de las instalaciones del Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México (AICM), el más importante del país, con cambios en su imagen, como la primera acción bajo su mando.
El cambio en su control se dio como cumplimiento al acuerdo presidencial de 8 de agosto que estableció que se agrupaba el Grupo Aeroportuario de la Ciudad de México, Servicios Aeroportuarios de la Ciudad de México y el AICM al sector coordinado por la Secretaría de Marina . “Desde el 7 de octubre de 2023, el Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez Ciudad de México quedó incorporado al sector coordinado por la Secretaría de Marina .
En el nuevo logotipo se agregaron elementos representativos de la Marina como un ancla, la cual representa confianza; un cabo , que significa confianza; y un timón, que representa rumbo. “Inicia la consolidación de una nueva etapa bajo la tutela de la Secretaría de Marina para traducir, en beneficio de las personas que utilizan el aeropuerto, los valores navales en seguridad, confianza y rumbo nuevo con transparencia y honestidad”, señaló la Semar.
