The group known as the Gilbert Goons has been connected to multiple cases of teen violence in the Valley.
MARICOPA COUNTY, Ariz. — There were more than 6,700 eviction cases filed in Maricopa County during the month of April — bringing the number of evictions filed in the first four months of the year to the highest it's been since 2000. The increase is"in line" with what the county sees each year from March to April, according to a news release. The county typically sees an increase in evictions filed in the summer months.
But the amount of evictions filed in April brings the total number of evictions filed in 2024 to 27, 906 — the highest number of evictions filed for the same period of time for any year dating back to 2000.
