Philippines, over the years, has been known to be a steady source of quality manpower — filling up jobs in hospitals, restaurants, ships, engineering industries, automotive, and other sectors.According to the Philippine Statistics Authority , the country has 1.83 million documented OFWs since 2021. The top five destinations for OFWs in 2021 were Asia , Europe , North and South America , Australia and Africa .
PSA also said out of the 1.83 million OFWs in 2021, 24 percent worked in Saudi Arabia, while 14 percent were in the United Arab Emirates .
