Public satisfaction for President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s performance slightly improved in the second quarter of the year, according to a non-commissioned opinion poll by Oculum Research and Analytics. Based on the survey conducted from June 25 to June 30, the research firm said 50% of Filipinos were satisfied with Marcos' performance as he enters his third year in office. The figure is slightly higher than the 49% recorded in the first quarter of the year.
About 11% of Filipinos were unsatisfied with his performance. WPS, US, divorceThe same survey also asked the respondents for their opinion on government policies on various national issues, including the territorial dispute with China in the West Philippine Sea . At least 75% said they were unsupportive of the Philippines’ relationship with China and 66% said they found China an untrustworthy country.
