President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. on Wednesday reiterated the country's "neutral foreign policy" as he emphasized that the Philippines is not siding with any nation.
“We do not subscribe to any notion of a bipolar world. We only side, of course, to the Philippines, not to the US, not to Beijing, not to Moscow. That’s very much being independent in what we do,” Marcos said Meanwhile, Marcos also called on Filipino ambassadors to continuously look for "non-traditional" partners when it comes to trade as well as the security and defense requirements of the country.
The President also urged the envoys to explore and discuss with him the opportunities that might be beneficial to the country and to Filipinos.
