MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. on Wednesday mistakenly called his wife Liza with his mother’s name “Imelda.”
In his remarks before he flew to Japan for an official visit, Marcos Jr. greeted the people who attended the send-off event, including Vice President Sara Duterte, former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.But when he reached the portion of greeting his wife, First Lady Liza, he instead mentioned his mother’s name and said “First Lady Imelda.”FEATURED STORIES
