House Deputy Speaker Rodante Marcoleta quits senatorial race
SAGIP Partylist Representative House Deputy Speaker Rodante Marcoleta has withdrawn his senatorial candidacy due to “poor” ranking in electoral surveys ahead of the 2022 national and local polls on May 9, 2022.
Marcoleta expressed gratitude to President Rodrigo Duterte who trusted and encouraged him to run for senator. Marcoleta vowed to continuously support the tandem, as well as all the candidates of the UniTeam and PDP-Laban.
