NEWLY-assumed Quezon City Police District Director Brigadier General Red Maranan ordered on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, the relief from post of six police personnel who responded and attended to the viral road rage incident.
The incident involves dismissed cop Wilfredo Gonzales, who slapped in the head cyclist Allan Badiola before brandishing his firearm following a traffic altercation. Gonzales and Badiola later settled the matter amicably but this does not spare the dismissed armed cop from any liabilities.
