The Commission on Higher Education says several colleges and universities will open the semester on August, but will employ 'flexible learning methods' amid the COVID-19 crisis.
Karamihan umano sa mga higher educational institutions sa bansa ang magbubukas sa Agosto, ayon sa pinuno ng Commission on Higher Education, pero gagamit na sila ng "flexible learning methods" sa gitna ng banta ng coronavirus disease 2019 .
Ibig sabihin, maaaring gawing online ang klase para sa mga may access sa internet. Pero kung limitado naman o kaya walang internet access ang estudyante, maaaring magbigay ng "The assumption is that when you open it would be residential or face to face. And what we are saying is many universities adopted flexible learning before ECQ. Many have adopted flexible during ECQ and many are adopting flexible learning in preparation of opening of classes. So when classes open its not classroom type anymore. So fear of resurgence of cases may not necessarily happen," ani De Vera.
Posible rin aniyang magbukas ang ilan pang unibersidad sa Setyembre o mas matagal pa depende sa kondisyon at kakayahan nilang magsagawa ng klase.
