It's going to be a busy Fourth of July weekend for rangers at Utah State Parks , with many expected to reach full capacity .
Which parks are expected to be the busiest, and are there any you should avoid if you want to get away from the crowds?State officials are certain at least three parks will be at full capacity, namely Jordanelle, Sand Hollow, and Deer Creek. If you had your heart set on visiting one particular park, they don’t want to discourage you, but they don’t want people to be surprised at how long it takes to get in.
“We got there at 10 o’clock in the morning. It was still beautiful, but it was almost full. The parking lot was just about at capacity at 10 o’clock,” Doggette said. “People, often times, will wait until the last minute to make plans because they might honestly not even know where they want to go," Chavez said.
