WLOS continues to ask FEMA questions about the speed of their response almost two months after Helene.
FEMA Deputy Federal Coordinating Officer Jeremy Slinker said it is not realistic to put an exact date on when all eligible people will be placed into housing.WLOS previously reported that many people in different communities were living in tents after Helene. Slinker said there is not an exact number of how many people currently are doing that.
