Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso opened the city’s second walk-in testing center on Thursday at the Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center in Tondo.Testing for the coronavirus disease is free for residents and non-residents alike.

“I want you to be proud as a ‘batang Maynila, ’ because, even if we are having difficulties, we still have a chance to be a good neighbor to others,” Domagoso said. The facility uses the serologic testing machine that was turned over by the city government on Wednesday.Manila also has two drive-through testing centers in Kartilya ng Katipunan and Quirino Grandstand.These hospitals would also have their own walkin texting center, according to the mayor.

Those who tested positive could undergo free confirmatory reverse transcriptase polyamerase chain reaction swab test in the city’s own RT-PCR laboratory at the Sta. Ana Hospital.
