Manila logs highest number of COVID19 recoveries in a day
The city of Manila reported 26 new coronavirus disease 2019 cases in the city, as well as 84 new recovered patients, the highest recorded in a single day, its public information office said Friday.The city government also recorded 4 new COVID-related deaths, bringing the total number of fatalities to 95.It was followed by Barangay Sampaloc with 189 cases and the second district of Tondo with 117 cases.
Metro Manila and other areas shifted to a modified lockdown until the end of the month while the rest of the country will have fewer restrictions as the enhanced community quarantine lapsed last Friday.
