Manhunt after gunman steals nearly £30,000 in terrifying robbery outside Asda - police want to speak to this person
A security guard was robbed at gunpoint of almost £30,000 during an 'outrageous' attack outside a busy supermarket. Armed police were called after the raid occurred at Asda in Hulme at 9.40am today, when the guard was completing a cash-in-transit delivery.
Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to. He is described as being white, aged between 30 and 40, of medium build.He was wearing a green parker jacket, a dark Adidas hat, black gloves, dark tracksuit bottoms, and grey trainers. The man left in the direction of the Princess Parkway heading away from city centre, riding a silver-framed mountain bike with black writing on it.
