The Mandaluyong City local government on Monday, Feb. 27, signed a memorandum of agreement with the Rizal Technological University on free civil service eligibility examination classes to its city employees as it stressed the importance of having civil service eligibility to further improve its public service to Mandaleños.

“Ang pamunuan ng Rizal Technological University ay nagdesisyon na makatulong lalung lalo na sa mga city employees na katulad din po sa RTU, marami din po kaming mga empleyado na hindi po mapermanent or hindi po mapromote dahil wala po silang civil service eligibility. Ito po ay part din ng Extension Service Program ng RTU ,” Yangco said.

In the country, civil service examinations, also known as the Career Service Examination, is conducted twice a year by the Civil Service Commission to figure out whether or not an applicant is eligible to work in the government.1. Sub-Professional Level – This level is aimed toward applicants eyeing first-level government positions, which includes clerical and administrative work.
