If you were hoping for a week of hanging the washing on the line, mowing the lawns and planting the vegetable boxes - you might to think again. The weather in Manchester is set to be up and down all week - with thunder potentially on the forecast.
According to the Met Office, today will see sunny spells, but you may still want to take your umbrella out.The forecast reads: “Rain clears northwards, leaving sunny spells and scattered showers, these perhaps heavy with a risk of thunder at times. Becoming drier into the afternoon with sunny spells developing and winds easing. Maximum temperature 12 °C.”
Tomorrow is also predicted to be ‘largely dry with some brighter spells’. The Met Office added: “Risk of showers at times especially in the south. Feeling quite cold in the strengthening northeasterly wind. Maximum temperature 13 °C.”
