A number of roads will shut for a period of time on Saturday due to the parade which starts on Deansgate
Thousands of people will head into Manchester city centre this bank holiday weekend to enjoy the annual Pride festival.
At the heart of the festivities will be The Gay Village Party, at Sackville Gardens, which will host a diverse line-up of musical performances across three stages.The Saturday will also see the popular parade which will see crowds line the streets to enjoy a showstopping spectacle of colour, celebration and activism.
Skirting the Gay Village, the parade will then turn right onto Princess Street then left on to Whitworth Street before finishing at Fairfield Street. Manchester Pride Parade road closures The parade starts 12pm at the junction of Liverpool Road and Deansgate in the city centre - with the last entry leaving at 3pm.
