Forecasters are predicting warm temperatures and lots of sun across the region
We've seen a lot of rain and cloud throughout June and July but Mancunians enjoyed a stunning start to the week on Monday, with clear blue skies and warm temperatures.
The good news is it doesn't end there, as the Met Office is predicting a scorcher across the region in the coming days.There is a yellow warning for thunderstorms in place towards the end of the week, but we're mainly looking at clear and dry days.Tuesday We're looking at a clear, sunny day today, with highs of 25C across the region. By 9am it is already expected to hit 18C, with temperatures climbing until around 4pm.
Saturday Saturday morning may bring some cloud, but we're expected to see sunny intervals again by lunchtime.Sunday Sunday is expected to be cloudy and cooler as the heatwave winds down a little. Forecasters say we can expect highs of 21C.
