MANILA, Philippines — Becky Aguila, manager of Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo, addressed 'false online accusations' being thrown at the couple.On her Instagram account, @becky_aguila, Aguila assured Mercado will continue to be an artist for GMA and will remain there 'as long as her mother network wants her to stay.'This is to dissuade the ongoing rumor that Mercado will leave her home network due to her absence in the new GMA 7 station ID 'Isa Sa Puso ng Pilipino.
Please don't let her switch channels,' fans commented in Aguila's IG post of Dennis Trillo securing an endorsement deal.Mercado's inked deal to make a comeback album with ABS-CBN's record label, Star Music, added fuel to the fire.However, Aguila denied these speculations, saying that Mercado was not in the station ID simply 'because she was unavailable that day'.
