Man with machete fatally shot by police in Lake Balboa
A man armed with a machete was fatally shot by at least one officer in Lake Balboa on Wednesday, Aug. 17, police said.
Witnesses summoned Los Angeles police to an alleyway near the 17400 block of Sherman Way, in a mostly residential area, about 7 a.m.The man, in his 20s, was taken to a hospital with multiple gunshot wounds but died, police said.
