A judge has ordered prison time for the man who stabbed a victim during an attempted robbery outside a downtown Seattle hotel last spring.
This knife was recovered by the Seattle Police Department after arresting a suspect accused of stabbing a man leaving a downtown Seattle hotel on May 7, 2023. “It was clearly close or had impacted my kidneys... one more millimeter, one more pound of force, or even just a sharper knife would have pierced my kidney. It would have resulted in a life threatening and at least a life-long injury,” Pond told the court.Ponds said he called his wife on FaceTime as he was in the ambulance to tell her what happened to him.
