A man aboard a San Francisco-bound flight from South Korea pleaded guilty to sexual assault of another passenger, federal officials said Monday.
Rajesh Kumar Kapoor of Sacramento admitted to authorities he touched a woman's breasts and inner thigh without her permission with the intent to harass her on the Jan. 16 flight, federal officials said. The 57-year-old was indicted nearly two months ago following the incident on March 13. Kapoor pleaded guilty to abusive sexual contact. His sentence is scheduled for March 27, 2025, and faces up to two years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
