Man Utd's 2-1 victory over Man City in the FA Cup final last weekend was made better from inside the Bobby Moore Lounge at Club Wembley
The 'new' Wembley is as enchanting an arena as you will find in the modern game and every big-game occasion there since its opening is always made to feel like an incredible spectacle.In terms of occasions, nothing feels quite as grand as preparing to watch the finest teams in the country go at it in front of 90,000 supporters and that's exactly what we were treated to last weekend in the form of the FA Cup final.
The main course is next in the form of Surf n' Turf; on top of the smoked British chateaubriand is a prawn ravioli and peppercorn sauce. A twist on a classic. All that remained was the last 45 minutes of action, yet again baked in the London sun. United survived a late scare and as the players passed by en route to collecting the trophy, you could tell they'd given their all.A final return to the Bobby Moore Lounge and greeting from the exemplary hosts saw our table decorated with hand-selected cheeses, crackers and grapes.
