Manchester United defender Gabby George needs surgery after injuring her anterior cruciate knee ligament and is set to miss the rest of the season.
"I'd always put 12 months on an ACL , and then you can work back from that," United manager Marc Skinner said on Tuesday.George joined United from Everton in the summer and has made four appearances for the Red Devils.
