Manchester United's five-game unbeaten run in the Premier League came to an end after losing 1-0 to Brighton and Hove Albion on Thursday night. SLInt MORE:
Red Devils coach Erik ten Hag recalled Anthony Martial, Antony, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Fred after the win over Aston Villa on Sunday, while Brighton were able to recall Caicedo and Kaoru Mitoma.
Brighton had a couple sights at goal of their own before the 15-minute mark, with Mitoma being denied by David de Gea before the Japanese forward went close with another effort a few minutes later. Brighton did finish the first half the livelier of the two sides, although Alex Mac Allister and Facundo Buonanotte did go close with a couple of strikes from distance before the halftime break.
Ten Hag eventually went to his bench with 15 minutes to play, as Marcel Sabitzer and Jadon Sancho replaced Fred and Antony, who was lucky not to have been sent off for a silly foul on Mac Allister.
