Manchester United suffered their defeat of the Premier League season after losing to Brighton and Hove Albion in Saturday's busy Premier League action.

Jeremy Doku eventually levelled matters for City barely a minute from the interval with a strike after cutting in the box. Brighton went ahead on 20 minutes after Danny Welbeck converted Simon Adingra's cross from close-range against his former side. The Seagulls went 3-0 up in the last 19 minutes after Joao Pedro put away a pass by Tariq Lamptey in the box.

Ange Postecoglou's charges put on a late show as Richarlison equalised deep in stoppage time with a header from a corner. Moussa Diaby found the back of the net for Villa ten minutes before the break but his goal was chalked off by the Video Assistant Referee for a fractional offside.Jhon Duran levelled matters for Villa two minutes before time and Douglas Luiz gave them the lead from the penalty spot late in stoppage time.
