Lady Cathy Ferguson, wife of Sir Alex Ferguson, passed away earlier this month and her funeral took place on Monday.
Manchester United stars paid their respects to Sir Alex Ferguson's late wife Lady Cathy Ferguson on Monday.
Kenny Dalglish and Brendan Rodgers were other notable attendees at the service, which was held at St Andrew’s Cathedral. It was Lady Cathy who helped talk Sir Alex out of his initial plans to retire in 2002. Writing in his autobiography, he revealed she had told him: "One, your health is good. Two, I’m not having you in the house. And three, you’re too young anyway."
