Confirmation of Man United's Europa League fixture schedule means changes to their Premier League schedule are inevitable.
Manchester United will have five of their Premier League fixtures moved to new dates following confirmation of their Europa League league phase schedule.
United's Premier League fixtures up to and including the end of October have already been pencilled in, with all TV selections up to the end of next month confirmed. The Reds will play three of their first eight Europa League matches before the end of October. Despite always being destined to be awarded a new kick-off time for TV purposes, the first Manchester derby of the season will now no longer be able to take place on Saturday, December 14. United will travel to the Czech Republic on Thursday, December 12 to take on Viktoria Plzen, meaning the derby tussle at the Etihad Stadium is likely to be moved to Sunday, December 15.
