A man who threatened to kill his neighbour will face jail if he commits any further offences
. John McCormick appeared at Nottingham Crown Court on Friday, January 13, after he routinely caused trouble in the block of flats in Newark Crescent, Sneinton, where he lived.
Nottinghamshire Police were called and officers arrested McCormick - he was charged with affray. Whilst the case was going through the courts, a second incident took place on October 18, 2020. This time, another neighbour opened his window to film McCormick’s disruptive behaviour, as he had been advised by the local authority to record any anti-social noise from McCormick. When McCormick spotted the neighbour, he swore at him and then threatened to burn down his flat.
