Safet Marina did not know what his job would be until he was taken to the Beeston property
A man who entered the country illegally by travelling by boat across the English Channel was found locked inside a cannabis farm in Beeston.
Prosecutor Rebecca Young said officers then forced entry into the property and found Marina there. Ms Young said: "They found the defendant in the cellar and he was arrested. He had a mobile phone, which in a basis of plea he says he was given and he could speak to his family back at home."Police carried out a search of the house and found the cellar being used to grow cannabis.
