Man stabbed while trying to break up fight at Scripps Ranch pizza place [Breaking]
A 28-year-old man was stabbed early Saturday after trying to break up a fight between two people in a strip mall parking lot in Scripps Ranch, San Diego police said.
The first altercation broke out between an 18-year-old man and another person in the lot on Scripps Trail about 1:10 a.m. When the 28-year-old man tried to step in, he and the 18-year-old got into a fight, and both men ended up on the ground, police said. The teen used a knife to stab the older man several times and then fled.A detailed suspect description was not immediately available.
