Armed police were scrambled to the scene of the incident this morning
A man was stabbed and a Land Rover car was left wrecked amid a 'disturbance' on a major road in Stockport this morning.
Paramedics also raced to the scene, as an air ambulance landed near to the busy road. Pictures showed a smashed-up Land Rover vehicle inside a cordon off area outside a tattoo shop. "Two men, including the injured party, have been arrested, one on suspicion of affray and the other for assault. Officers are treating this as an isolated incident."
