Man sneaks through Mission Valley hotel's worker entrance, robs employee [Breaking]
A man robbed a hotel employee Monday morning in Mission Valley after sneaking into the building through an entrance designated for workers, San Diego police said.
It happened about 5:50 a.m. Tuesday at the Super 8 By Windham Hotel Circle on Hotel Circle South between Bachman Place and Camino de la Reina, according to San Diego police Officer Sarah Foster. The man entered through the employee entrance and ordered the on-duty worker to the ground, Foster said. The worker complied and the man went to the register, pulled out the draw and took off with it.
No description of the bandit was provided, and Foster did not say whether he was armed or claimed to be armed. The Police Department’s robbery unit is investigating the incident.
