A Target employee accused of theft likely made Santa’s naughty list Dec. 1 when an in-store video camera caught him taking an Elf on the shelf figure and an elfin dress for her from the store shelf and take it to his car without paying for the merchandise.

In tracing missing electronic products from the store inventory a loss prevention employee saw on store video that an employee took an Apple Mini computer out of a locked cabinet and placed it in a back room.
Target store security called police 6 p.m. Dec. 2 for a detained Russell Township teen accused of theft. Employees saw her come into the store and head to the beauty section where she took six beauty items valued at $94. She concealed them in her hoodie pocket and left without paying for them before she was stopped. Store video confirmed the accusation and she had the items in her possession when officers spoke to her. Police cited her with juvenile theft.
