Police said the man was walking on the sidewalk in the 600 block of North State Street when someone in a silver Dodge pickup truck fired shots at about 2:47 a.m. The Chicago Fire Department transported the man to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition, police said.The man was shot about a block from the recently-opened Bally’s Chicago casino, located at 600 North Wabash Avenue in the Medinah Temple.
