A man is dead after he was shot by his stepfather following an argument over a dog at a north Houston home Saturday evening, police said.
According to HPD Commander B. Bennett, it happened in the 600 block of Gale Street near Irvington Boulevard at10:48 p.m.
Bennett said the man and his girlfriend arrived at his stepfather’s home and at some point, they began arguing about a dog. Both the stepson and his girlfriend attempted to force their way inside the home, and that was when, investigators said, the stepfather grabbed a gun and shot his stepson in the chest.The stepfather was taken into custody by police at the scene.Copyright 2022 by KPRC Click2Houston - All rights reserved.A graduate of the University of Houston-Downtown, Ana moved to H-Town from sunny southern California in 2015.
