A man was shot in West Oakland early Monday and two suspects are being sought.
OAKLAND — A 41-year-old man was shot early Monday in West Oakland, authorities said.The shooting was reported about 12:09 a.m. Monday in the 2100 block of Union Street.
The man told police he was standing outside when he was approached by two men he said he did not know. After a brief exchange of words, the victim said, they began shooting at him.A motive for the shooting was under investigation. No arrests have been made. Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $5,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the suspects.
