Man shot in the leg outside convenience store, shooter flees before police arrive

A man was shot in the leg Thursday after a tussle with another man in a convenience store parking lot, according to Houston Police Department officials.Houston police were called to the scene at 1000 Bissonnet Street just before 1 a.m. Information was limited as of early Thursday but police had located video footage of the events, Lt. R. Willkens told Metro Video Services.
The man who was shot was believed to be in his mid-20s and had been outside a convenience store when he got into an argument with another man. A short time later, one of the men pulled a gun and fired, striking the other man. “The victim ran inside the store to get some help," Willkens said."The suspect left in a gray vehicle.”
