A man is in a critical condition after being shot in the head and chest in a suspected drive-by shooting that has rocked Sydney's south-west.
New South Wales Police were called to Canterbury Road in Campsie after receiving multiple calls of gunfire at a carpark in an apartment block on Tuesday about 10pm.

Picture: Channel 9Firefighters at the same time were called out to a trio of burnt out cars in three suburbs.NSW Police said three cars were found alight, including a Mercedes which had hit a house in nearby Kingsgrove and then went up in flames.
The last Sydney shooting occurred less than three months ago when a heavily-tattooed man was gunned down outside his home also in the south-west. NSW Police and paramedics rushed to the scene but he was pronounced dead. His bloodied body remained on the bitumen for several hours after the killing.
