A man was shot and killed while washing a car in North Philadelphia, according to police.

Police responding to the scene took the victim to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead just after 5 p.m., police said.As of Wednesday, at least 352 people had been killed in the city so far in 2023, . That's down about 20% from the same time last year, but still on pace to be one of the deadliest years in the past 16 years.
